Set off on this full day coach tour from Frankfurt to Rothenburg, through the picturesque Spessart mountains. On the banks of the river Main you'll pass Wuerzburg before traveling along the Romantic Road.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, is referred to as Germany's well-preserved 'Jewel of the Middle Ages' with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) and altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider.

Upon arrival in Rothenburg, you have some free-time to explore the city or do some shopping in some of the famous historic shops of the city. Around noon, you will have lunch at Restaurant Tilman Riemenschneider. In the early afternoon,  join the city walk with a local guide who will point out major sights of interest. Your coach will leave from the city-square (Schrannenplatz) for your trip back to Frankfurt, later this evening for an approximate arrival at 7:30pm.

Wurzburg Christmas Market

Travel comfortably by motor coach on this full day trip from Frankfurt to Wurzburg and enjoy the best of both worlds. Join a city tour to see the city's main sites and then there's enough free time to set off on your own adventures.

You'll depart Frankfurt early and head along the Romantic Road, arriving in Wuerzburg at approximately 10:00am. After a short walk to the market square you may pick up your copy of a Wuerzburg guidebook at the tourist information in return for your voucher. (Please note that on Saturdays, you are invited to join an English-guided city-tour at 1:00pm instead, which takes you along the major points of interest). Later that day you will also join a guided inside tour of the Residenz, a beautiful baroque castle.

After you have gained some first impressions of Wuerzburg take time out for lunch. Just stroll down the road to the Restaurant Ratskeller, where lunch is provided.

The rest of the day is at you're leisure. Choose to take cruise on the river Main, or visit one of the city's numerous wine makers for a wine degustation. Your coach departs again from the main station in Wuerzburg, reaching Frankfurt M. station at about 7:30pm.
